Quick answers to common questions about traveling with us

The best time for gorilla trekking is during the dry seasons: June to September and December to February. However, gorilla trekking is possible year-round. The wet seasons (March-May and October-November) offer lush green landscapes and fewer tourists.

Gorilla trekking requires moderate fitness. You'll be hiking through mountainous terrain at high altitudes for 2-6 hours. We recommend some pre-trip cardio training. Our guides accommodate different fitness levels and can adjust the pace.

Our packages include accommodation, park entrance fees, guided game drives, gorilla/chimp permits (where applicable), meals, airport transfers, and a dedicated safari vehicle. International flights, travel insurance, and personal items are typically excluded.

Most nationalities require a visa to enter Uganda. You can apply for an e-visa online before travel or obtain a visa on arrival at the airport. We recommend checking the official Uganda immigration website for up-to-date requirements.

Yes, Uganda is generally safe for tourists. National parks and major tourist areas are well-protected. We recommend common sense precautions like avoiding walking alone at night and keeping valuables secure. Our experienced guides ensure your safety throughout the journey.
